To close out the month March (Maple Month), we figured we'd feature another maple-related partner of ours: Maple Lane Farm.
Maple Lane Farm is located in the small, scenic town of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire (located near Milford) in the foothills of the Monadnock region. Owned and operated by Karen Grybko and her husband Richard, their 13 acre pasture is home to several farm animals, including cows, sheep, lamb, goats, chickens, mini donkeys, and a horse. As Karen states, "This makes for few dull moments but a wonderful life."
Karen grew up on a large vegetable farm in Whately, Massachusetts on the banks of the Connecticut River. She always loved baking and cooking but it wasn’t until she moved to the farm that she began a business selling baked goods at farm stands and local farmers markets. It wasn’t long before people began to buy Karen's pies over the vegetables she brought from her gardens. Soon, she ditched the farming for something she was truly passionate about – baking.
In 2017, Karen developed a recipe for Maple Peanut Brittle. She then added Maple Walnut Brittle in 2018. She also produces Maple Almond Brittle and Maple Cashew Brittle too. All of Maple Lane Farm's brittle are made from only 4 ingredients and naturally gluten free. That’s it – no additives, no preservatives and naturally gluten free.
All of Maple Lane Farm's treats can be purchased at various shops and farm stands throughout New Hampshire, as well as on her website at www.maplelanefarmnh.com. To learn more about Maple Lane Farm, visit their website or follow them on Facebook.
